Herne Bay High Street.
Herne Bay is located on the North Kent Coast just 8 miles north of the historic City of Canterbury. The town looks out on the North Sea and on clear days the Isle of Sheppy and Southend can be seen on the horizon. Also on the horizon are the now abandoned Army and Navy Sea Defences built to defend London from sea attack during the war.

Eynsford.
The picturesque village of Eynsford, at the western end of the AONB, lies on the River Darent and derives its name from Aegen, an anglo-saxon family name and the ford crossing in the village - Aegenford. This has since become Eynsford.

Otford Village.
A picturesque Village in West Kent, it has historical connections with Henry VIII and Archbishops Warham and Thomas Beckett.
